India : 2 Held For Selling Counterfeit Toners Cartridges

Bangalore India , Sleuths of Central Crime Bureau’s (CCB)Cheating and Misuse Wing raided a computer spare shop – Newtech Computers – on Wood Street on Wednesday and arrested two men on the charge of manufacturing and selling ink cartridges and toners using fake labels of popular companies.

Pavan Kumar, 29, and Mohan, 21, are the arrested.

The other two accused – Vaviya Patel Jayasukh and Naveen Patel – escaped.

Police have also seized machinery used for manufacturing and refilling printer cartridges and toners and labels of leading brands. A case has been registered at the Ashok Nagar police station and further investigation is on.
