INKCYCLE EARNS THREE I.S.O. CERTIFICATIONS
LENEXA,
Kansas, January 2011 — After extensive independent audits, InkCycle,
Inc. has achieved the Environmental Management System (14001), Quality
Management System (9001), and Occupational Health & Safety
Management System (18001) International Organization for Standardization
(ISO) certifications. ISO is the world’s largest non-governmental
developer and publisher of world standards for business, government and
society.
ISO 9001 is a process-oriented structure that is
customer focused and emphasizes continuous improvement in quality. By
attaining this level of predefined ISO standards, InkCycle has
demonstrated its ability to consistently manufacture a product that
meets customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements while addressing
customer satisfaction through the application of the system.
ISO
14001 certification requires an organization to manage, measure,
improve and communicate its environmental program in a systematic way.
It drives the company toward operating environmentally conscious
business operations.
ISO 18001 provides a standard for the
effective management of health and safety systems. This standard
minimizes risks to employees, improves upon existing systems, and
demonstrates conformance to Occupational Health and Safety policies with
the organization.
Each certification type is valid for three
years, and the facility is evaluated on an annual basis. To view

commitment to running a quality-focused, environmentally friendly
business,” said President and CEO Rick Krska. “While we have always
adhered to the ISO standards, we now have the strategic framework to
continue to deliver safe, healthy, environmentally-friendly products
that are being continuously improved through our quality systems.”
