Imaging Supplies Coalition will be hosting its 2008 Conference on Fraud
Counterfeiting in the Imaging Supplies Industry August 17-19, 2008, at
the newly remodeled Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The theme of the conference is Combating Counterfeiting on a Global
Scale.We have arranged a group of industry leading speakers with
expertise in many areas of brand protection who will share their
experience in stopping counterfeiting and fraud. The conference
presentations include:

    * Case Studies by brand protection managers from Lexmark
    * An overview of industry trends by Lyra and Infotrends
    * An update by the DHS Bureau of Customs and Border Protection
    * An update on brand protection issues encountered on the internet by the ISC general counsel
   
* A Panel discussion and presentation on the up to date strategies and
techniques used by developers to thwart counterfeiters and IP
infringement by Cryptography Research, Tesa Scribs and Hologram
Industries
    * A presentation on environmental issues facing the Imaging Supplies Industry by Close the Loop
    * An update on the activities of the IACC with a special focus on the 301 special report.
    * Updates on the activities of the CACP, including an update on the Chamber of Commerce legislative program
    * Updates on the progress of anti counterfeiting activities in:
          o Latin America by the Legal Affairs Manager for the Reebok Adidas group
          o Asia/China (Speaker TBD)
          o Canada by a leading IPR law firm
          o Europe by the President of the ICCE
