John Lockett Vs. Ricoh Americas Corporation

On August 17, 2012, we filed a Complaint on behalf of technical service engineers and other similar job titles against Ricoh Americas Corporation (“Ricoh”). These technical service engineers seek overtime compensation under the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”). The Complaint alleges that technical service engineers routinely worked in excess of forty hours per week providing technical IT support to Ricoh’s customers in the areas of networking, communications, enterprise applications, and troubleshooting customers’ issues. The technical service engineers allege that prior to approximately June 2011, Ricoh improperly classified them as “exempt” from the FLSA and improperly denied them overtime compensation for their overtime hours worked.

Ricoh Americas Corporation : “Was a Great Place To Work”
Pros – Machines that work great (When they work) with all the connectivity bells and whistles the customers. Great Co-workers

Cons – After all the mergers all the great management that Ricoh had is gone.
Ricoh supposedly buys out Lanier then Ikon but then let their management run Ricoh to the ground. Management was non existent unless it was to bring bad news either about lay offs or about more work you had to handle with no extra pay.
