    KONICA MINOLTA UNVEILS BIZHUB C200
    Konica
Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading
provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the
desktop to the print shop, today unveiled the new bizhub C200, a
multifunctional product (MFP – print, copy, fax, and scan all in one
system) tailored to fit the needs of small office to mid-range office
workgroups, departments or low volume black and white environments,
coupled with color prints at an economical price. Users in the growing
Segment 1 market will now have the benefit of Konica Minolta MFP
technology at a price and feature point that meets customers’ needs.

    The
bizhub™ C200, which prints at 20 pages per minute in both color and
black and white, is an entry-level bizhub developed by Konica Minolta
that boasts all the functionality and quality needed from a color
office system. Designed specifically to help users who are looking to
migrate to color printing or have need for occasional color printing
without paying a premium price, the bizhub C200 will deliver
exceptional, affordable color output, while still producing crisp
black-and-white prints, and all at a low total cost of ownership.

    Built
upon the strong success of the award-winning Konica Minolta technology,
the bizhub C200 incorporates many innovative features such as the
Emperon™ Print System and Simitri® HD (High Definition) Color
Polymerized Toner, which uses smaller and more uniform-size particles
for improved print quality, allows users to reduce energy consumption
by as much as 15 percent, requiring lower fusing temperatures than
average toners. The Konica Minolta proprietary Emperon Print System
provides a 667MHz 440EP processor and 576 MB standard memory which
makes it possible to handle diverse office needs. The bizhub C200 also
offers unified print drivers for ease-of-use with PCL, PS compatibility
as well as support for PC and Mac environments.

    The bizhub C200
offers features such as Super G3 Faxing, Internet Fax, IP Address Fax
(BW only), PC-Fax and Multi-Line Fax for high-volume fax environments.
The network scan functions such as Multi-Method Send and Scan-to-Email
provide greater flexibility in sharing information. In addition, the
bizhub C200 provides security functions such as Secure Print and
    Account Track.

The bizhub C200 can handle media sizes ranging
from 5.5”x 8.5” to as large as 12”x18”. The standard 250-sheet paper
capacity can be increased to a maximum of 3,350 sheets – media types
ranging from plain paper (up to 24 lb.) to thick stock (up to 140 lb
index). The Job Separator option adds flexibility to the capability of
the bizhub C200 by offering a choice of an additional output tray that
can be programmed to handle different functions. The optional Auto
Reversing Document Feeder, which can handle up to 70 sheets, provides
additional versatility and ease of use.“We recognize that users in
small-office environments have unique printing needs, and the bizhub
C200 is an ideal fit for this segment,” said Kevin Kern, Vice
President, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc.
