Konica Minolta Buys Stake Into French Inkjet Company For $ 18,556,900
Konica Minolta to Acquire 10% of French Digital Printer Maker
TOKYO, Jan. 21, 2014 — (Kyodo) _ Konica Minolta Inc. said Tuesday it will acquire a 10 percent stake in a French digital printer manufacturer for 13.7 million euros.
The Japanese copier and printer maker will expand its existing collaboration with MGI Digital Graphic Technology, headquartered in Ivry, outside Paris, to cover co-development and co-marketing of products, it said.
MGI designs, manufactures and markets a range of digital presses and recently expanded into inkjet equipment for printed electronics. It posted net sales of over 27.1 million euros in fiscal 2012.
