    Konica Minolta to Acquire FedEx Kinko’s In Japan

    TOKYO- Konica Minolta Holdings Inc. said Thursday it will acquire FedEx Kinko’s Japan Co., Japan’s largest business convenience store provider, to expand and strengthen its production print business.

    Konica Minolta signed a contract last month through its unit Konica Minolta Business Technologies Inc. to buy all shares of the company, owned by FedEx Kinko’s International Inc., and will complete the deal by the end of this month.FedEx Kinko’s Japan now operates 49 stores mostly in urban areas and six printing centers in Japan.
