    Kyocera expands UK facilities

Kyocera Document Solutions is opening a new showroom and moving to a new head office in the UK.

The new showroom – which will officially open in July 2013 – will be located on the ground floor of the Chancery Place office building in Manchester. It will comprise a showroom, product demonstration suites, meeting rooms and the company’s first Northern region sales office.

Kyocera is also switching its UK headquarters, although it will remain in the town of Reading. The new head office will be in a self-contained building that includes a large customer demonstration area, training rooms, presentation suites and hot-desking facilities.

"We are a very different size and shape organisation to the one that was present even five years ago," said UK Marketing Director Nigel Allen. "We’ve grown organically 77% in the last three years and needed the space and infrastructure that could accommodate our phenomenal growth. We are 100% indirect and this investment in Manchester and Reading will further support our partners."

The company will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary in the UK with a programme of community focused projects and events throughout 2013.

Kyocera recently made a move into the SMB and SOHO space with a new range of monochrome laser printers and MFPs.
