Lexmark Opens Competence Center In Hungary

2008 BUDAPEST — Lexmark International Inc. (LXK), a maker and supplier
of printing services and products, Wednesday opened a competence center
in Budapest, the Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency said.
The
competence center will provide high added-value services primarily in
the fields of finance, marketing, after-sale and customer support to
Lexmark’s European, Middle Eastern and North-African entities, the
company and ITDA said in a release.Budapest was chosen because of its
skilled workforce and the city’s strong infrastructure and
accessibility, Lexmark said.The center will employs 50 people and
another 150 employees will be hired during the next 18 months,
Hungarian state news agency MTI said.
