    THE
    next time you buy a printer from the latest B400 series by OKI Printing
    Solutions, you will be helping to save the environment. OKI recently
    launched its ‘One Printer, One Tree’ campaign that promises the
    planting of a tree for each printer sold.a tree to start the ‘One
    Printer, One Tree’ campaign.The campaign was recently launched in
    Malaysia by OKI country manager Goh Yin-hwang, accompanied by OKI
    representatives from Japan – general manager Takao Uchida, project
    leader Hiroyuki Yamada and manager Shoko Takita – who planted a tree on
    the grounds of Sunway Lagoon Theme Park to symbolise the company’s
    committment to a better environment.Goh said: “The private sector
    should play a role to ensure the world is still good to live in for the
    coming generations.”Uchida and Takita also reiterated the company’s
    plans to capture a bigger market share in the global printer market,
    starting with the B400 series.

    The new series comprises the
    B410d, B430d and B440dn and features impressive print speeds of up to
    28 pages per minute (ppm) and fast first-time-print of just 5.5 seconds
    to ensure excellent productivity in busy office environments.The B410d
    (RM1,199) features a top resolution of 2400x600dpi and an input
    capacity of up to 800 pages, while the B430d (RM1,399) offers longer
    uninterrupted printing, has true 1200x1200dpi resolution and is
    suitable for heavy workloads.

    Each model also comes in networked
    environment versions: B410dn (RM1,399) and B430dn (RM1,599). The B440dn
    (RM1,799) has an optional 10,000 pages high capacity toner cartridge
    for longer uninterrupted printing, making it ideal for busy
    workgroups.Besides planting a tree for each printer sold in Malaysia,
    Goh added that OKI is planning to work with the government to create
    educational programmes and activities in schools to help instil
    environmental consciousness for future generations.
