    Microsoft, Lexmark in cross-licensing deal
    REDMOND,
Wash. – Microsoft Corp. and Lexmark International Inc., which makes
printers and imagining equipment, have struck a cross-licensing deal,
the companies said Tuesday. The agreement covers a range of Lexmark
printers and Microsoft software, but the companies did not disclose
specific products or financial details.”Because both Microsoft and
Lexmark have access to an extensive range of technologies, this
agreement will allow each company to shorten its development cycle and
increase its focus on customer-related innovation,” said David Kaefer,
Microsoft’s general manager of intellectual property licensing, in a
    statement.
