MKIC Purchases Future Graphics
In
a letter e-mailed to its customers and posted on its Web site, Future
Graphics Imaging Corp. (FGIC) announced that Mitsubishi Kagaku Imaging
Corp. has, through its subsidiary Future Graphics Imaging Corporation
(FGIC), acquired the laser printer business of Future Graphics LLC.The
e-mail , signed by Yasuo (Jimmy) Semba, FGIC CEO; Robert Goldstein,
FGIC President; and Lionel Brown, FGIC COO read in part, “We believe
that FGIC will provide our customers with additional value through
quicker development and the introduction of new products, as well as
improved logistics to ensure we have the products needed by our
customers when and where they need them.”MKIC has been the exclusive
supplier of OPC drums and toner to Future Graphics LLC for nearly three
years.
