N.W. COLORADO COPIER DEALER EXPANDS SALES TERRITORY

In the Internet age, people can connect faster than ever. And, one Craig vendor is working to make it easier still for people in the Yampa Valley region.As of Thursday, The Copy Shop and Computer Corner, 99 E. Fourth St., is officially the premier dealer of Toshiba products for Northwest Colorado.The arrangement came as result of fellow Toshiba dealer, Pilot Office Supply of Steamboat Springs, selling to Advanced Copier Solutions, also of Steamboat.Copy Shop owner Scott McKinney said his territory size will double as he takes on the Pilot’s clients. The store will now service customers in Summit, Jackson and Grand Counties in addition to Moffat, Routt, Rio Blanco and Wyoming’s Carbon County.“We’ll be able to provide service and sales for them now that (Pilot) has chosen to sell,” he said. “Instead of Toshiba coming in with a new dealer and trying to rebuild the territory, we’ll be able to expand mine and keep up the glowing reputation.”

Toshiba District Sales Manager Jaclyn Testa met with McKinney on Thursday to finalize the deal.“We look for a long, bright future with expansion for The Copy Shop,” she said.

McKinney said he has been selling the Toshiba line since opening his store 14 years ago.
“We’ve got everything for the office, but the business focus is on printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines,” he said. “Everything today is meant to be multi-function so you can take care of 80 percent of everything that needs to be done in your office.“That can save the customer huge amounts of money. Customer service is what we do for the Yampa Valley.”

McKinney said he will keep his store headquartered in Craig.
“As long as we can keep our territory handled from here at a reasonable cost, I don’t think there’s any reason to open another location when we can handle everything from one,” he said.The Copy Shop and Computer Corner is also accredited with the Better Business Bureau.For more information on the store’s Toshiba products, visit http://www.craigcopyshop.com
