Tec has unveiled a new range of multifunctional products (MFPs) to
provide a level of performance exceeding previous units.The e-Studio
2820c, 3520c and 4520c will allow users to colour print, scan, copy and
fax from one piece of hardware and are designed to produce high-quality
output to enable the printing of items such as brochures.A range of
compatible printing methods also increase the potential of the MFPs, as
in addition to standard paper sizes the e-Studio products can take
waterproof paper and banners up to 1.2 metres long.Use of colour LCD
displays and touchscreen adds to the user-friendliness of the products,
while the units can hold 3,700 sheets of paper, cutting down on the
time spent refilling them.The e-Studio systems can print up to 45 pages
per minute, while the scanner can take around 57 copies a minute.Steve
Hewson, marketing director of Toshiba Tec UK Imaging Systems, said:
“The attention to detail with the design of these models ensures that
it will take businesses less time to produce professional documents at
higher quality than before.”Toshiba Tec claims that the concept of
monozukuri, or creating “products with pride and passion”, is at the
centre of its corporate philosophy.
