2006 Printer and copier market to be $59.7 billion
the combined printer/copier market in 2006 will see a spend of $59.7 billion.
though the vendors are struggling to boost revenues amidst a price
war which is also making it hard to generate profit, especially from
two-tier distribution and through resellers. How ever new products and
stronger sales in developing markets will help in achieving the
forecasted revenues on a shipment of estimated 125 million units.
Over all the Inkjet Market is on target to meet forecast in 2006 , despite slower movements of inkjet MFPs.
The Color Laser MFP market has also grown with double digit growth and there was a consistent demand for monochrome copiers .
