    Brother UK’s head of marketing leaves, with no replacement named as yet
    November 2007 It appears as though Chris Hind, the marketing chief for Brother UK, has left the company after more than twenty years with the firm.When contacted by How-Do a spokesperson at Brother confirmed that Hind had left his position last week, adding that she could not provide further contact details for him.As a result the details of his departure were unclear at the time of writing, but Hind’s colleague did admit that there was a “restructuring” taking place across several departments within the Audenshaw based business. They added that a replacement had not been named as yet and this would be unlikely to occur until the re-structuring had been completed.

    An industry insider acquainted with Hind suggested that after so long at the firm he had been offered favourable voluntary redundancy terms and subsequently accepted them. However, this could not be confirmed and the marketing department of the firm was unwilling to comment further.In separate news Brother has just released its latest £2m press and outdoor campaign targeting business audiences (pictured above). The activity, crafted by Clear Communications with media buying by MediaVest, promotes the firm’s colour laser printer range. It can be seen across management and office focused press, with poster work focused around city centre commuter routes.
