Canon Introduces Three New Specialty Media to Aftermarket Portfolio
Copier Leader Introduces Its First Carbonless and Recyclable Papers, As well as Canon Branded Color Copy Paper, for its CLC and imageRUNNER Devices
LAKE SUCCESS,N.Y.–Oct., 2004– Further expanding its already extensive line of Canon-branded specialty print media, Canon U.S.A., Inc., the nation's market share brand leader in black-and-white and color laser copier/printer solutions(1) , today introduced three consumable "firsts" under the Canon Brand portfolio: Genuine Awareness line of recycled papers; Canon-branded carbonless paper and Genuine Color line of color copy paper for its CLC and Color imageRUNNER devices.Canon is introducing the three new media products to accommodate the high-quality output expectations of customers using Canon digital copier technology and equipment. Canon's unique product offers vivid color reproduction and excellent performance on color copiers, laser printers and high-speed black and white copiers.

As part of its commitment to the environment, Canon is also unveiling a line of color and black-and-white recyclable paper for its CLC and imageRUNNER devices under the Canon Genuine Awareness brand.
In the 30 percent post-consumer content recycled category, Canon is offering 24 lb. Bond in Letter, Ledger and Full Bleed sizes for use on Canon color devices, as well as 20 lb. Bond in Letter, Legal, Ledger, and 3-Hole Punch Letter sizes for both its imageRUNNER copiers and its Color imageRUNNER devices.
