    Cartridge World Aims for Pan-India Presence
    Mumbai, Mar  2008In the first phase of its expansion plan, Cartridge World, the Australian specialty cartridge retailing chain, intends to set shop in Tier I & II cities of India this year. It also plans to have a presence in the capital cities of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.In the next financial year, in the second phase, it plans to spread out in Tier III cities of India and also include cities in Maldives and Bhutan in its retailing network. Cartridge World expects to open 250 stores across the Indian subcontinent by the year 2010.

    As a part of its expansion plans, the retailing chain has opened its new store in Mumbai.Commenting on the launch, Naveen Rakhecha, CEO of South Asia, Cartridge World, said, “We currently have 20 operational stores across India in 12 cities. We have signed up a total of 40 stores across 15 cities in India.”Located in the Fort area, the store will offer services that include refilling inkjet cartridges and reloading laser cartridges – both backed with money-back guarantees, along with printer repairs and free customer education on cartridge care. The outlet will also stock OEM inkjet and laser cartridges, high quality specialty paper, fax supplies, OEM printers and other office supplies.
