Headline: Foreign sales to cover Daisytek’s court demand

3 November 2003 – Allen (TX): Funds from Daisytek’s sale of its Canadian and Argentinian subsidiaries will be used to pay off the remainder of the $58 million Bank debt it has generated while in Chapter 11.

The US bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Dallas has ordered the stricken wholesaler to pay the outstanding sum, $9 million, to a group of ten lenders.
