LONG
BEACH, Calif., March 07 Epson America today announced that Graham
Nash, award-winning photographer and legendary member of the rock group
Crosby, Stills & Nash, will sign Epson prints of his
black-and-white David Crosby portrait at the Digital Imaging Marketing
Association(R) DIMA 2007 Conference March 7 in Las Vegas, Nev. Nash
will greet attendees and sign the prints prior to receiving the DIMA
Lifetime Achievement Award with longtime Nash Editions partner, master
printmaker Mac Holbert, during the closing keynote address.”At Nash
Editions we believe it is critical that we share leading-edge
techniques and technologies, many stemming from Epson innovation, to
not only document the state of fine art digital printmaking today but
help support the continued growth of the industry,” said Graham Nash,
co-founder, Nash Editions. “We are honored to be recognized at the
upcoming DIMA 2007 conference and look forward to sharing this special
portrait of Crosby. It was the first image Mac and I printed digitally
in black-and-white more than 17 years ago, symbolizing the inception of
our digital printmaking journey.”Nash printed the portraits on the new
Epson Stylus(R) Pro 3800, engineered to surpass the most demanding
expectations of creative professionals with superior imaging quality
and speed. The industry-leading Epson UltraChrome K3(TM) ink
technology, in combination with the Epson Stylus Pro 3800 printer’s
breakthroughs in screening algorithms, media transport and ink
delivery, produces prints unprecedented in Epson’s history. More
information on the Epson Stylus Pro 3800 and other Epson products is

Nash and Holbert’s new book, “Nash Editions Photography and the Art of
Digital Printing,” which illustrates the convergence of fine art and
digital printmaking through thought-provoking essays and world-renowned
artwork. The book features a brief history of printmaking and an essay
by Holbert on the genesis of Nash Editions and fine-art digital
printing, detailing the studio’s interactions with major artists. The
book’s more than 100 illustrations include Nash Editions artwork,
photos of artists in the studio and images of the machines used in
digital printing.”Graham and Mac have eloquently documented the
evolution of digital photography in their new book,” said Dan
Steinhardt, photographic marketing manager, Epson. “In the spirit of
advancing professional digital imaging, Epson applauds not only the
release of their book but also their contributions to our industry. We
have been collaborating with the industry’s leading creative
professionals and printmakers like Mac and Graham since the inception
of photographic quality digital imaging and remain committed to meeting
the future needs of the most discerning professionals.” -
