‘Ink Bandits’ hit local Office Max
NORCROSS – A group of five shoplifters known as the “Ink Bandits” have targeted three Office Max stores for theft of ink cartridges, according to police reports.
The manager of an Office Max store at 5270 Peachtree Parkway in Norcross told police that three women and two men, all Hispanic, appear to be working together. Two pairs of suspects distracted employees on Sunday while a fifth suspect loaded a storage tote full of ink cartridges.
The group fled in a brown Chrysler minivan with Forsyth County plates. The manager said the thieves also struck the Alpharetta and Gainesville Office Max stores.
