Japanese PC shipments rise 23 January 2004 – Tokyo (JPN): Japanese PC Shipments rose 5% year-on-year in Q4. According to the Japan Electronics and IT Industries Association, stronger sales in the commercial and consumer markets attributed for the boost.
Shipments for the quarter hit 2.5 billion units with the total for the year finishing at 10.5 billion.
