Ltd.Launches a range of world class colour
laser printersNew Delhi, June 2005:
Adding a dash of
colour to the Indian printer market, Konica Minolta Printing Solutions Asia Pvt.
Ltd announced its entry into the Indian market. The world leader in colour
printers has tied up with HCL InfiNet, the 100% subsidiary of HCL Infosystems,
India’s leading information enabling company, to launch a range of laser colour
printers in the Indian market. HCL InfiNet, the distribution arm of HCL
Infosystems, will market and distribute the printers.
The key features that
distinguish Konica’s product line from others in the market are high speed;
better resolution; superior graphic and print quality; reduced printing time per
page; user friendliness; direct photo printing and paper saving duplex options.
The range of printers also offer additional host of features such as standard
interfaces; lesser warm-up time; easy web-based management; unique polymer based
toner for better resolution and a compact design which reduces the desk space
occupied by the printers.
Talking about the launch and HCL’s exclusive
distribution tie-up with Konica Minolta Solutions Pvt. Ltd, V Rajendren, GM –
Marketing, Imaging Products & Solutions, HCL InfiNet, said,” We are

The newly launched range includes Konica’s magicolor 2400 and
magicolor 2430 DL priced at Rs 32,500 and Rs 38,000 respectively and targeted at
small offices and personal users who seek high quality colour printing. On the
other side of the spectrum is magicolor 5430 DL printers targeted at
institutional customers who have been using monochrome printers to meet their
requirements and looking to move up the chain with colour printing; and for
those who have been using colour printers but seek higher speed, better quality
and versatility in their printers. The price for this range starts at Rs 75,000
onwards.
Also now available in the Indian market are PagePro 1300W/ 1350W
printer mono laser printer targeted at small business, home offices and
executives who felt the need to own a quality laser printer but could not afford
one. The product is attractively priced in the range of Rs 11,500- Rs 12,500.
The new range from Konica gives higher resolutions using the Polymerised
Toners, Quatrolaser technology and improved colour matching systems ensuring
excellent print outputs. Polymerised toner is essential to the reproduction of
high-quality images in this new era of technologically advanced laser printers.
The new range has Product Downsizing & Front Opening Design making it a
complete compact solution. Front access to consumables and compatible with all
common softwares makes it one of the most user friendly in its category.
