Police accuse 2 men of stealing $187,000 worth of ink, toner
BRISTOL,
Pa. – Two men have been accused of stealing $187,000 worth of ink and
toner from their employer and then selling the goods on the
Internet.The two worked for an office-supplies wholesaler in Bristol
Township, Bucks County.Police say supervisors at Monroe Systems for
Business discovered ink cartridges and toner missing since at least
November 2006. The company contacted police in September.Authorities
say the two men confessed. The two are charged with theft and related
offenses.Thirty-one-year-old Timmy Gilbert, of Falls Township, and
20-year-old William Riley, of Bristol Township, were arraigned Tuesday.
They were released on $100,000 bail.
