New Printers From Brother

The
leading brand in printing, communications, and digital imaging for
homes, SOHO and enterprises, Brother International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
has launched its HL-5200 Series laser printers which promise to meet
the demands for monochrome printing of Small Medium Business (SMB) and
enterprise workgroup users.
The new printers offer a print speed of
up to 28ppm (pages per minute), which prints up to 30% faster than
others in its class and a true 1200 x 1200dpi resolution for the
highest quality. The HL-5240 comes with a standard 16MB memory that is
fully upgradeable to 528MB, while the HL-5250DN and HL-5270DN come with
a standard 32MB memory that is upgradeable to 544MB. All three models
come with a standard 250-sheet paper tray that can be dramatically
increased with optional trays. This option gives users the flexibility
of working with 250, 500 or 750 sheets.The HL-5250DN and HL-5270DN
include duplex printing and bundled booklet printing options. The
duplex function prints on both sides of the page, saving resources such
as paper and toner, while booklet printing allows multiple pages to be
combined into book format. Both, the HL-5240 and the HL-5250DN come
with a standard yield 3,500-page toner, while the highest performing
printer, the HL-5270DN, is equipped with a high-yield 7,000-page toner.
All three models have a Toner Save feature that prints with less toner
– without dramatically reducing print quality. So for non-critical
documents, regular use of Toner Save extends the life span of the toner
cartridge.
Brother is offering the HL-5200 Series at a highly
affordable RM1099 for the HL-5240, RM1499 for the HL-5250DN and RM1799
for the HL-5270DN. The HL-5200 series printers come with a 12-month
carry-in warranty. Replacement toners also come affordable with the
TN3145 priced at RM200 for 3,500 pages and the higher capacity TN3185
toner is priced at RM280 for 7,000 pages. A replacement drum for the
HL-5200 series (DR3115) is priced at RM480 for 25,000 pages and can be
had at all Brother authorized dealers
