OfficeMax awarded Navy contract
November
2006 — Naperville (IL): OfficeMax has signed a one-year contract with
the US Navy to provide office supplies and technology to the Department
of Defense (DoD) ship and shore activities nationwide. Senior VP of
vertical markets Steve Schwarz said: “OfficeMax is honoured to develop
this partnership with the US Navy that provides it with an efficient,
cost-effective system for purchasing office supplies.”The contract
could be extended if the relationship proves successful.
