Paper Mate Wins Ink Jet Cartridge Challenge At Consumer Electronics Show
Have you taken the “Paper Mate Challenge?”More than 100 journalists and analysts did just that while Attending a special media-only event during the Consumer Electronics Show. Each put the new Paper Mate inkjet Cartridge With AccuSharp ink to the test. Attendees were asked to compare Paper Mate’s color printout versus leading OEM (original equipment manufacturer) printouts.
From a sample size of 110 national and international journalists and analysts, 97 individuals picked Paper Mate inkjet printouts over the printouts of one of the leading brands of inkjet printer cartridges.
“The outcome confirms our research with other end users–Paper Mate cartridges provide a visibly better printout than the more expensive branded cartridges,” said Charles Duke, president of Legacy, the company who manufacturers the new cartridges under the Paper Mate brand. “The difference can be found in our AccuSharpTM inks, which are specially formulated for vibrant printouts.”
This is the Paper Mate brand’s first play into the printer cartridge market, positioning the product at a value of approximately 20 to 30 percent below other branded cartridges.
“When you combine reliable performance at a reasonable price from a brand consumer trust, we know we have the winner,” said Duke.
The national rollout is this month with a series of “Paper Mate Challenge” events across the country to follow throughout the year.
Paper Mate inkjet Cartridges will be sold in consumer electronics stores, office product stores, mass merchandisers, and drug and grocery stores. Paper Mate cartridges are compatible with the most popular HP, Epson and Canon printers.
