Ricoh given go ahead to buy Danka Europe
December 2006 — Brussels (BEL): Ricoh Europe has been granted permission from the European Commission (EC) to buy the European operations of Danka Business Systems for $210 million in cash. In a statement, the EC said: “The transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area.”
