Color For All Types of Businesses
Sharp is Introducing four new color products to meet every need from general office printing to color-critical mid-level production. The AR-C330 Color IMAGER produces both color and black and white documents at 33 pages per minute (PPM) while delivering networked print, copy and scan capabilities. This new color MFP can reproduce any document from simple flyers to the most demanding, color-intensive jobs, making it ideal for office environments where color fidelity, accuracy and reliability are vital. Sharp is also introducing the AR-BC320 and AR-BC260 Color IMAGERs that are designed to cost-effectively replace monochrome devices in workgroups. With 32 PPM monochrome/26 PPM color and 26 PPM monochrome/17 PPM color output respectively, these machines can quickly turn around typical office workflow as well as color jobs that previously had to be outsourced. Additionally, Sharp is showing a new 24 ppm color printer, model AR-C240P, designed for general office color output on letter/ legal/ banner size stock.Mid-Volume Multitasking MFPs
Sharp’s new AR-M355N and AR-M455N Digital IMAGERs are a pair of sophisticated workgroup MFPs offering the most advanced multitasking capabilities in their category. Both models feature Sharp’s Scan2 technology, which scans two-sided documents in a single pass. These new models also boast a 300 MHz controller with an onboard 40 GB hard drive to help even the busiest workgroups manage their document workflow. Additionally, the new AR-M355N and AR-M455N IMAGERs offer intelligent application integration, which automates document management tasks that once took several steps. To help businesses protect their documents and network, these new IMAGERs offer an enhanced, multilevel security strategy.Industry-Leading Security
Sharp is extending its leadership in security solutions by offering unmatched MFP security across the widest range of products in the industry, so any customer can better ensure the confidentiality of intellectual property. With features such as encryption, overwrite and enhanced port management, Sharp can protect confidential information from even the most sophisticated threats. The award-winning Sharp Data Security Kit offers several layers of advanced security to help make sure that documents printed, copied, scanned, faxed, archived or e-mailed from the digital MFP are protected from prying eyes.Open Systems Architecture
Digital multifunction devices have evolved from back-office copiers to a gateway for document-based business communications. The Sharp Open Systems Architecture is a development platform for software integration and custom solutions that will help businesses take full control of Production right on the MFP. This development platform will save workers time by automating tasks that once took several steps. For example, businesses will be able to scan an invoice on the MFP and instantly integrate the invoice into an accounting software package to process payments without user intervention at the desktop. In addition, it will allow the MFP to perform expanded tasks on the network that had not been imagined.Device Management
To help users Gain even more value from their MFPs, Sharp is offering a new suite of device management options that will help lower operating costs by better managing everything from installation to daily usage to troubleshooting. For example, SharpAccountant helps businesses track and allocate IMAGER costs by collecting copy print and scan activity. Key users can then bill divisions for MFP-related costs and analyze the data to determine long-term usage by group. Sharp also offers similar tracking software to manage both Sharp and non-Sharp printers and MFPs through Equitrac Office software..Sharp is also creating the opportunity for dealers to see product demonstrations at the National Dealer Meeting including small office or workgroup Digital IMAGER MFPs, models AR-M207 and AR-M162, and entry-level workgroup document communication systems, models FO-DC525 and FO-4450.
