    Sony updates portable photo printers
Sony has uncovered two future additions to its line of portable photo printers, the FP95 and FP75 (not pictured). Both are designed to print 4×6 images in approximately a minute, but the latter is a relatively basic model, with a 3.5-inch screen, and simpler editing functions including enlargement, rotation and color tweaking. Supported memory card formats include SD, xD and Memory Stick, although virtually any modern camera can print directly through a PictBridge port.

Emphasis is instead being put on the FP95, which adds support for CF cards and microdrives, as well as new scrapbooking templates with different layouts and backgrounds. An automatic touch-up feature attempts to compensate for problems like exposure and red-eye, and live previews display the effects of filters, such as partial coloring or monochrome. Finally, the LCD is larger at 3.6 inches, and images can be fed to HDTVs through an HDMI output. The FP95 and FP75 will ship in April for $200 and $150.
