Toshiba continues expansion in U.S.
Toshiba
Business Solutions has acquired Copier Sales MBM Inc. and ImagePro
Ltd., based in Akron, Ohio and Cleveland respectively.The two companies
were both authorized Toshiba dealers prior to the acquisition and
merged earlier this year.The acquisition is the 52nd dealer for
TBS since it announced its business expansion plan.Previous Copier
Sales co-owners Scott Baldwin and Bill Salm now serve as president and
vice president of sales, respectively. Gary Miller, Copier Sales
founder, recently retired. The dealership has earned the Toshiba
ProMasters Award, which recognizes technical service and customer
support excellence, for nine years running. Based in Irvine, Calif.,
TBS operates a network of wholly owned office equipment dealers
throughout the U.S. and is a division of Toshiba America Business
Solutions Inc. which markets, sells, services and distributes copiers,
facsimiles, multifunction products, network controllers and toner
products throughout the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, Latin America and the
Caribbean. Other divisions are Electronic Imaging, Toner Products, and
Document Solutions Engineering Division.
