Xerox is to Raise $250 Million FRom Notes Xerox Corp. said Monday it plans to raise about $250 million by issuing notes under an existing $2.5 billion shelf registration statement.
The company said it will raise the money by issuing additional 6.875 percent senior unsecured notes due 2011. Xerox said the funds would be used for general corporate purposes, but did not provide details.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. are joint book-running managers, the company said.
Shares of Xerox rose 6 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $14.27 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
