Optima
HVAC LLC of Port Richey filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization
Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Middle District of Florida,
listing assets and liabilities of between $1 million and $10 million.
Optima
HVAC is a subsidiary of Optima Technologies LLC of Tampa, which
provides printer toner and service to small- and medium-sized
businesses.Optima HVAC lists more than $2.26 million in debt to its
largest unsecured creditors, court documents say, including $1.35
million to International Comfort Products LLC of Lewisburg, Tenn., and
more than $47,000 to the Agency for Workforce Innovation in Tallahassee.
Both are considered disputed debts.
Optima HVAC also owes nearly
$689,000 to Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services in Chicago,
$25,000 to the Florida Department of Revenue and a little more than
$19,000 to Honeywell International in Chicago. Optima HVAC indicated in
court documents that it likely will not have assets to cover these debts
once it applies necessary exemptions.
