Pantum P2000 Series Printer Recognised With BLI Award

‘Outstanding Personal A4 Monochrome Printer’ category

Chinese printer manufacturer PANTUM is pleased to announce that its P2000 Series has won the 2012 Winter ‘Pick’ recognition from BLI (Buyers Laboratory LLC), one of the world’s leading independent testing and research organisations, in the ‘Outstanding Personal A4 Monochrome Printer’ category.

Pete Emory, Lab Manager at BLI, comments: “We were quite impressed with the reliability of the Pantum P2000 Series printers. The units sailed through our rigorous 20,000-impression test with no misfeeds or malfunctions. This is especially significant because most competitive printers are tested for a fraction of that, due to their much lower duty cycles.”

Along with demonstrating its reliability, the Pantum P2000 Series was all the more impressive, as the laser printer produced approximately twice the impressions of the most robust competitor in its class: the unit also provided image quality exhibiting crisp text, the entire range of grayscale levels and solid colours. Moreover, routine maintenance procedures were simple and kept downtime to a minimum.

The BLI “Pick” awards are presented bi-annually to the products that perform best in their respective categories, based on in-depth three-month laboratory evaluation performed by BLI experts.
