Primera Increases Toner Cartridge Capacity
Primera Technology has increased the capacity of its cyan, magenta, yellow and black toner cartridges for the company’s CX1200 digital label press, so offering customers 10 percent more ink for the same price.
Toner cartridges for the CX1200 previously were rated for 15,000 ISO pages. Now, all new shipments of toner cartridges are rated for 16,500 ISO pages. The price of the cartridges remains the same as before.
The higher-capacity toner cartridges are now available through Primera in the US and Canada, Primera Europe in EMEA countries, and Primera Asia Pacific.
‘We’re pleased to be able to offer 10 percent more toner in each toner cartridge for the same price,’ said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice-president of sales and marketing. ‘When we surveyed our users and asked what we could do to improve our best-selling CX1200 digital color label press, a reduction in the cost per label was the number one request. We listened and reacted as quickly as possible.’
