The bizhub 215 features Konica Minolta’s Simitri HD Toner Technology and offers output speeds of up to 21 pages per minute, high-resolution output at 600-by-600 dpi and color scanning capabilities. An integrated Toner Loop Mechanism recycles and reuses toner particles that have not been transferred to paper, thereby reducing toner waste on the bizhub 215 MFP to zero, “making it one of the most sustainable MFPs in its class,” the company’s statement said. More HP Announces New SMB Officejet Printers The new HP Officejet 6600, 6700 Premium and 4620 e-All-in-Ones (AiO) and HP Officejet 6100 ePrinter join HP’s lineup of business inkjet printers, offer faster print speeds than their predecessors (between 8 and 14 ppm for black and white and 7.5 and 9 ppm for color), use HP’s high-capacity ink cartridges, and have the ability to print from smartphones and tablets virtually anywhere with HP ePrint. Additionally, the HP Officejet 4620 is made from recyclable plastics and ships in 100 percent recyclable packaging. More Xerox Launches ColorQube 8700/8900 Color MFPs Xerox announced the new ColorQube 8700/8900 color MFPs, which “use solid ink technology, produce up to 90 percent less printing waste, and use 17 percent less lifecycle energy,” the company’s statement said.
