Samsung Launches SCX-3405 Series for SMBs
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced seven additions to its multifunction printer range. The SCX-3405 series MFPs provide simple and reliable performance with print, scan, copy and fax solutions at a competitive cost. Targeted at small and medium-size businesses, the devices provide quick printing speeds alongside cost-effective solutions. The devices are powered by a 433 MHz core processor with up to 128 MB of memory and can print up to 20 A4 pages per minute.

Brother Announces New Digital Color Units and All-In-Ones
Brother announced two new digital color units as well as two new all-in-ones, which the company says “offer up to four times faster color printing than competing color laser printers and all-in-ones.” The HL-3045CN and HL-3075CW are Brother’s new digital color printers, while the MFC-9125CN and MFC-9325CW are Brother’s new all-in-one devices. The four devices offer print speeds up to 19 ppm for color and black-and-white printing with 600-by-2,400-dpi resolution using Brother LED print technology.

Photizo Group announced its acquisition of Lyra Research. The acquisition unites the two market leaders, "creating the broadest, most comprehensive line of market intelligence and consulting services in the imaging industry to date," the company’s statement said. Each organization will keep its brands intact and associated with its respective products.
