Recycling Times Media: It’s Time to Better Your Remanufacturing Business

Zhuhai, August 18, 2014 — For 2 years, cartridge remanufacturers have also been facing more and more critical hurdles thrown at them by the OEMs. News headlines like “Remanufactured cartridges may also infringe OEM patents” frighten and worry them.

How can remanufacturers genuinely respect the intellectual property of the OEMs, while also protecting their businesses? To find answers, foreign and domestic remanufacturers and distributors of print consumables will gather in Zhuhai, China. Fierce debates over new legal developments and updates on market trends from top experts are expected to equip them to seize new opportunities and act for their businesses!

The RT Imaging Summit Zhuhai, organized by Recycling Times Media, will bring remanufacturers from all over the world to the Zhuhai Holiday Inn on October 15, 2014. Organizers promise the one-day summit—themed “IT’S TIME!”—to provide real workplace solutions from 20 forward-thinking experts on IP (Intellectual Property), patent issues and brand protection. “When they leave our Summit, remanufacturers will be motivated, and better equipped to act and fight for their businesses for the year ahead,” says RT Media’s Managing Director Tony Lee.

The RT Imaging Summit has been held annually for 8 years in the print consumables capital of the world—Zhuhai—where more cartridges are produced than anywhere else on the planet. More than 200 attendees are expected again this year from more than 40 countries. The summit has become the premier platform for those who want to be smarter in the global printing consumable industry. So far, the speakers who will present speeches in the Summit include: Rod Young (Executive Chairman, Cartridge World), Luke Goldberg (Senior Vice President, Micro Solutions Enterprises), Andrew Gardner (Worldwide Brand Protection Manager, Lexmark International Inc.) and Pankaj Chawla (Research Manager, IDC Asia Pacific) etc.

A series of professional events will be held in October. Following the RT Imaging Summit on October 15, will be the world’s largest consumables expo—RemaxAsia Expo. It will run over three days starting October 16 at the Zhuhai International Exhibition & Convention Center. The iPrint Expo (Digital & Packaging Printing Equipment Expo), and the iPrint 3D expo and seminars will be held in the same venue on the same dates.

Those planning to attend, even for the first time, have told organizers they have already marked their diaries, and booked their tickets to what they are calling the “MUST-ATTEND” event of the year. Attendees should pre-register before September 19 to save $50 on their tickets.
