Ricoh Sues Kodak Over Printer Patents

Law360, New York– Ricoh Americas Corp. on Thursday hit Eastman Kodak Co. with a lawsuit accusing the camera icon of infringing seven patents through the manufacture and sale of its printers, adding to the pile of intellectual property allegations thrown at Kodak since it entered bankruptcy last year.

The printer and copier company claims that Kodak’s sale of the allegedly infringing products is inducing others to infringe the patents as well. It is looking to permanently block Kodak from continuing its alleged infringement.
