Wind River(R), a world leader in embedded software for intelligent connected systems, announced that Ricoh is using Wind River Simics during the development of their next generation multi-function printers (MFPs). Simics is a full system simulator allowing companies to accelerate their software development process. By using simulation to remove the dependence on physical hardware, not only can teams start development sooner but they gain flexibility and efficiencies throughout the entire process — from design, test to debug.
