ECI² Automates Transactions between Dealers and Tech Data U.S. –
eCommerce Industries Inc. (ECI2), the leader in information technology solutions for office products, IT consumables, and other adjacent industries, announced the development of an Internet-based private supply network (PSN) service for Tech Data Corporation, a leading global provider of IT products and services.
Resellers using ECI² business systems have online access to a wide variety of supplies and accessories products distributed by Tech Data. The PSN enable resellers to browse products, build quotes, place orders and receive order confirmations via the Internet. Order acknowledgments also can automatically update the original purchase orders in the dealer’s Ensite Pro™ business system software.
“Tech Data is dedicated to helping resellers increase efficiencies and streamline their businesses,” said Wendy Linsky, vice president of Peripherals Product Marketing. “By leveraging ECI²’s PSN capabilities our customers can spend less time searching for products or processing orders and more time with their clients to drive their business forward.”
The Tech Data PSN service is available to resellers using Version 7.7 or later of ECI²’s Ensite Pro business system software. Current ECI² customers can implement Internet purchasing with Tech Data by setting up an account with the distributor and loading the Tech Data Supplies and Accessories item file from the O/PUS OPdb multi-vendor catalog. There are no charges or additional fees for the PSN service from either Tech Data or ECI².
