    Ex-hospital employee sentenced
    OKLAHOMA
CITY- A federal judge has sentenced a former Clinton Indian Hospital
employee to three months in prison for mail fraud.U.S. Attorney John C.
Richter says 52-year-old Thomas Trout also was ordered on Tuesday to
pay $66,000 in restitution to the hospital, where he worked as the
receiving agent.Richter says from May 2002 through August 2006, Trout
ordered far more printer toner from a supplier than the hospital needed
and inflated invoices above the fair market value for the product.
Trout paid the invoices with his government debit card.Officials say
his aim was to acquire personal gifts from the supplier for being a
good customer. Richter says Trout received a VCR, DVD player, and money
in the form of cashiers checks or money orders.Trout pleaded guilty on
    Sept. 10.
