Uk:New ink cartridge business launched
INK and Paper Direct has opened its doors for business on Church Road, Tunbridge Wells for the first time.
Owned by 33 year-old Tej Bungsy, the company aims to compete with the big retailers by selling a comprehensive range of original and compatible printer ink cartridges at keen prices.
The shop, which opened on October 1, also sells copier paper and offers a printing and framing service for producing large scale banners and posters.
"I have been operating in the wholesale market for four years so I have all the right contacts among the major suppliers", said Mr Bungsy.
"Many of our smaller customers don’t want to shop at the big stores or rely solely on internet suppliers because of delivery problems. We keep stock on the premises which many of our customers prefer."
Mr Bungsy’s business – Ink and Paper – was started in May last year and achieved a turnover of £200,000 in its first year.
He said: "We have our own internet business selling into most European countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the UK.
"Because I was born in Mauritius it sometimes helps that I speak fluent French."
