United Cerebral Palsy  Of Alabama Now Collecting Empty Cartridges
    By Walt Butler

Thanks to the folks of Atmore for helping collect used printer cartridges for United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile.

By collecting old cartridges and selling new ones, UCP generates funds for programs to help people who have disabilities. All the funds raised go to these programs, plus some of the employees who work in this department also have a disability. So it’s a WIN-WIN situation.

UCP of Mobile services 37 counties in South Alabama. Glenn Harger is president and CEO of UCP of Mobile.

If you have a used cartridge and want to donate it to UCP, you can drop it off at the Atmore News office, 128 S. Main, or call me, Walt Butler, at 251-294-0603 for pick up.

All types and sizes of printer cartridges – desktop printers, fax machines, etc. – are acceptable.

You may also buy new cartridges from UCP by calling John Vella at 251-479-4900.
