    UTAH:Students collecting ink cartridges
    Forestport Elementary students are encouraging the community to recycle used ink cartridges.
    Collection boxes have been placed at Bonnie’s Country Store, Woodhull Road, Campbell’s Diner on state Route 28, C&R Hardware on Woodhull Road, Foothills Veterinary Clinic on Potato Hill Road, Boonville, Forestport Diner on Woodhull Road, Forestport, Forestport Town offices on Woodhull Road and Boonville Town offices on state Route 12, Boonville.Individuals and businesses can deposit used inkjet and laser cartridges into these boxes, send cartridges to school with a student, drop them off at the school, 10275 state Route 28, or call 392-2700 to arrange for collection.Once collected, the cartridges will be sent for recycling and the PTA will receive a donation to fund activities for the students such as Welcome kits for Pre-K and kindergarten, Parents as Reading Partners and It’s a Zoo program. Other fundraisers underway at Forestport Elementary include collection of Boxtops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education.
