Lexmark announces Inspire: Lexmark’s Teaching Award
As part of the company’s 20th anniversary celebration, Lexmark International, Inc.today announced Inspire: Lexmark’s Teaching Award.
Lexmark’s Teaching Award has been established to highlight and salute exceptional middle and high school teachers who teach science, technology, engineering, and/or math (STEM) in designated Central Kentucky counties. During each academic school year, one teacher per month will be awarded $1,000 to be used to promote STEM education for his/her classroom.
Nominations should come from students, colleagues, parents, school administrators, or community leaders and must be submitted online, along with two reference letters.

The nomination process for the 2011-2012 school year is open now until April 15, 2012. All nominations will be reviewed and awarded monthly by a committee consisting of Lexmark employees.
