    Xerox names 2 new executives
Xerox Corp. has named a couple of new top executives.

Jeff Jacobson, who formerly oversaw the company's Global Graphic Communications Operations serving the commercial print world, has been named chief operating officer of Xerox Technology — the umbrella for the company's printing-related lines of business.

Andrew Copley, meanwhile, has been named president of Xerox Graphic Communications Operations, essentially filling Jacobson's old job.

Jacobson started at Xerox in 2012 after five years as CEO of Presstek. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years in executive positions in Eastman Kodak Co.'s Graphic Communications Group and its Polychrome Graphics joint venture with Sun Chemical.

Copley also started in 2012 at Xerox as general manager of the graphics communications business. His prior experience includes four years as chief operating officer of Kodak's graphics communications group.

The two will have offices both in Webster and at Xerox headquarters in Norwalk, Conn.

Xerox is one of the Rochester region's largest employers, with more than 6,300 workers
