    Because its trash. If you can not get rid of it I will take it at 3 cents per pound. I have more experience in this stuff than anyone on the planet. 5 years ago I would have offered 20 cents each but as of today the costs associated with the recovery do not equal the benefit. The costs incured by puting a few ML of ink into each cartridge for testing can be prohibative if the recovery rates are below 5%. At this recovery rate you are better off to buy garaunteed virgins. Recovery rates are not what they used to be because of a variety of reasons. I have processed millions of these types of cartridges and as of 2005 the risk can out weigh the reward.
