Xerox’s latest quarterly results show a significant increase in supplies, paper and other sales, highlighting the growing importance of recurring consumables revenue to the company’s business. According to Xerox’s reported financial results, this category reached approximately $437 million in the first quarter of 2026, compared with $168 million in the same period a year earlier, representing growth of roughly 160%. However, the figure should not be described as a 166% increase in toner sales because Xerox reports toner together with supplies, paper and other products rather than as a standalone category. The sharp increase was also influenced by Xerox’s acquisition of Lexmark, which expanded the company’s supplies-related business. The results illustrate how Xerox’s recurring consumables and supplies business can contribute significantly to overall revenue while providing an important source of ongoing sales from its installed hardware base.
