Canon is once again tightening its grip on the printer supplies market after forcing Amazon to remove multiple Chinese counterfeit toner cartridge listings, including China-made counterfeit toner products sold by SUPER IMAGE OFFICE under its “myCartridge” brand. Canon stated that the cartridges sold under those listings by the sellers identified below infringe Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 12,242,222.
